Mood: .... Yo

My brother an I had lots of discussions about the submissions (he's my co-judge) during the whole process. And even though some stood out from the beginning it was very hard to decide.
At some point I even thought "Hey, let's just give them all a month subscription!"
But that wouldn't be a very good solution too, would it? I just now, I'd be very peeved if I was a participant in a contest, put everything I can into the picture and then the contest holder decides everyone gets the same prize. -.-


And I have good news for you. Due to the large response I'll be upgrading the prizes.

1st Place: 9 month subscription
2nd Place: 6 month subscription
3rd Place: 3 months subscription
4th Place: 1 month subscription

All prizes are not necessary a subscription. If you would like your prize in some other form (up to similar value), then send me a note telling and we'll discuss it. If I don't hear from you until the weekend I'll assume you want the sub.

The element is very good portrayed and the art is detailed. The many scales show that the artist put much effort into it.

A great and funny idea. Well done with a detailed background. She just took DEATH a bit too literal.

The third one is from DARKNESS.

Ah... this one immediately caught my attention. It really stands out from all the other drawings for the unusual style. The element of DARKNESS is almost tangible in the picture. For risking something by being different and for the details and effort, this one made it 2nd place.

And here we have last and first... FIRE

It combines wonderful art with an unusual idea and a great personification of the FIRE-element. I think the first place is well deserved.
